Medications: Faithful Friends will attempt to administer medications as directed but cannot be held responsible for complications that arise as a result. Excessively shy cats with medical problems can be a serious risk. If you have such an animal, this must be thoroughly discussed. Under no circumstances will Faithful Friends service any pet that has any form of contagious illness. This is for the safety of other clients. If a Faithful Friends pet care provider is bitten or exposed to any disease or ailment received from the client's pet(s) which has not been properly or currently vaccinated, the client will be responsible for all costs and damages that may incur.
Animal Behavior: Animals behavior can be unpredictable. Faithful Friends does not accept responsibility or liability for animal behavior, normal or otherwise, which results in injury to the client's animals. Further, if a Faithful Friends team member is harmed or injured by the client's animals, the client/owner accepts full responsibility for the cost of any necessary medical attention required by either the Faithful Friends Pet Care provider or by the animals.
Fences: Fenced in yards are wonderful playgrounds for our dogs and allow them additional space to exercise and play. However, no fence system is totally secure. Faithful Friends does not accept responsibility or liability for any client's animals that escape or become lost or injured, fatal or otherwise, when instructed to leave the clients animals in a fenced in area. This includes electronic, wood, metal or any other type of fence.
Early Returns/Last minute Changes: It is not unusual for trip plans to change at the last minute. However, please understand that Faithful Friends carefully schedules our time to service you and our other clients. Therefore, there are no refunds or credits for early returns or last minute changes to pet care. Once pet care begins, there are no refunds.
Veterinary Care: We ask that you contact your veterinarian to let them know you will be having a Faithful Friends Pet Sitting care for your pet(s) during your specific time away. Please place a credit card on file with your veterinarian as well. If this is not done and pet sitter needs to take your pet to the vet and they pay for the charges, you the owner will incur a 20% charge on top of the veterinary fees.
Inclement Weather: In the event of unforeseen inclement weather Faithful Friends will do everything possible to still provide quality care to your pet(s). If the pet sitter is unable to get to your home to provide care your emergency contact will be notified. The pet sitter will not be held liable for any damages done to your home or injury of the pet in these circumstances.
House Issues: If a problem arises such as a pipeline breaking, fire, break in, damage to the home by the pet the owner will be notified immediately. If the owner is not reached, the owner grants Faithful Friends the ability to do their best at fixing the problem. The owner agrees to reimburse Faithful Friends if any charges should be incurred.
Cameras: We understand that most of our clients have cameras in places of their homes to check in on their pets while they are away. Or there are cameras outside of the home. Please let us know where these cameras are located at during the meet and greet. Also, place this information in your profile. If a sitter is providing overnight care and cameras are in the bedroom the sitter will disconnect the camera. If we find any hidden those too will be disconnected. We respect that you have cameras, but we will not have cameras hidden. They need to be out in plain sight.
Our Promise to You: Faithful Friends and our team members will provide the services stated herein in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, Owner expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against Pet Sitter except those arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Pet Sitter.
During the holiday's we at Faithful Friends will begin to receive a high volume of requests for care. In order for your pet(s) to be placed on the calendar we required the first day of care upfront in order to save your spot on the calendar. We will not reserve this spot until payment and contract have been received. This money will be applied to the cost of the care. Please understand that when we are booked we turn clients away because our sitters cannot handle anyone else. This ensures your pet(s) will be placed on the calendar and given quality care while you are away. Our holiday's are as follows: Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day, 4th of July and Easter. Please understand we charge a holiday fee of $20 three days prior to and after the day of the holiday. This is NOT a daily fee. Our cancellation policy also applies to our holiday's as well.
Cancellations/Change of Dates or time of care: We at Faithful Friends are happy to provide the services that you have requested, place you on our calendar and have a pet sitter scheduled to provide these services for you. If your schedule changes or you need to cancel please do so three days prior to care. If this is not done you, the client will still owe 50% of the total cost of care that was scheduled. If you cancel within 24 hours of care, you the client will owe the full amount for the care that was scheduled. We schedule this time and arrange for care for your beloved pet(s) so please let us know so that we can take your pet(s) off the schedule.
